General Chiropractic Care
Left untreated, stress and imbalance can lead to numbness, tingling, tightness, sore muscles, chronic pain, and other symptoms of an unbalanced nervous system. Of course, we can’t prevent stress, but we can alleviate the symptoms it creates through general chiropractic care. Various gentle, effective, modern techniques can help you achieve the best possible results.

Chiropractic Care Movement Based Massage
Scar tissue can significantly impact range of motion and overall comfort. As scar tissue develops, tissues that could once move freely may become restricted. Over time, your muscle strength may decline, nerves can become trapped within scar tissue, and painful problems such as tendonitis can occur. These hidden issues surface as symptoms, including reduced mobility, pain, loss of muscle strength, and even tingling or numbness.
Dr. Bomberg can examine and treat the soft tissue to gently correct problems using precise movements. Tissues, including muscles, ligaments, nerves, and tendons, are evaluated based on their texture, mobility, and tightness. If an abnormality is detected in a specific area, it is treated with carefully applied tension and movements.
Movement Based Massage Kinesio Taping
If you’ve recently watched a sporting event, you might’ve noticed some athletes using Kinesio tape. This specialized tape has been used for decades to promote healing and support athletic performance, and you don’t have to be a professional athlete to enjoy the benefits. The technique used to apply the tape is designed to promote healing while giving your muscles and joints the additional support and stability they need.
When done correctly, Kinesio taping can help alleviate pain and discomfort without restricting your range of motion.
Kinesio Taping Intersegmental Traction Table
Intersegmental Traction Tables (IST) gently help reestablish the normal ranges of the body’s spine, facilitate muscle relaxation, and reduce muscle spasms. It has been shown that using an IST greatly accelerates recovery progress from a back injury. By mobilizing the spinal column while stretching the ligaments and muscles, this technique can increase blood flow and oxygen to discs, ligaments, and muscles, improving balance, strength, and mobility.
The Intersegmental Traction Table operates by a dual roller moving up and down the muscles on either side of the spine. The rolling contact is constant and works electronically. IST tables are very relaxing and make for a genuinely great healing tool.
Intersegmental Traction Table TENS Therapy
Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, or TENS, is a type of therapy that uses a low-voltage electrical current to relieve pain. Electrodes are typically applied to the affected area or specific pressure points. Once the electrodes have been attached, a gentle electrical current is delivered. This current passes through the skin, travels along your nerve fibers, and can override or even block the pain signals your nerves are sending to your brain.
TENS provides a noninvasive option for temporary, sometimes even long-lasting, pain relief. Beyond pain relief, TENS can also be used to control or even eliminate muscle spasms.
TENS Therapy Spinal Decompression
Compressed discs in your spine can cause severe pain, affecting your joints in a way that disrupts regular activities like walking and standing. Spinal decompression therapy offers a non-surgical option to relieve back pain. The treatment involves stretching the spine on a motorized device or traction table and restructuring the muscles for greater physiological support.
If stretching, wearing a brace, resting the area, using ice or heat, or taking pain medications isn’t helping you find relief from back pain, spinal decompression therapy might be a great option.
